Skewered Fish

Skewered fish is a delicious and easy way to grill fish and it can be served as a main dish or as an appetizer. Here's a recipe for skewered fish:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of firm white fish (such as cod, halibut, or sea bass) cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Add the fish cubes to the marinade, making sure that each cube is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
  3. Thread the fish cubes onto skewers.
  4. Grill the fish skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the fish is opaque.
  5. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice on top.

Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a salad.

Note: Be careful not to over-cook the fish or it will become dry and less flavorful.
