Shrimp Skewers

Shrimp skewers are a delicious and easy way to grill seafood. Here's a recipe for shrimp skewers:


  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using)


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade, making sure that each shrimp is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
  3. Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  5. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice on top.

Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a salad.

Note: Be careful not to over-cook the shrimp or it will become tough and less flavorful.
