Grilled Spicy BBQ Chicken Skewers

Spicy BBQ chicken skewers are a delicious and easy way to add some heat to your grilled chicken. Here's a recipe for spicy BBQ chicken skewers:

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using)

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, hot sauce, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure that each cube is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
  3. Thread the chicken cubes onto skewers.
  4. Grill the chicken skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove the skewers from the grill and brush with extra sauce, if desired.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a salad, or serve as an appetizer.

Note: Be careful not to over-cook the chicken or it will become dry and less flavorful.
