Classic Grilled Steak
Grilling steak is a simple and delicious way to prepare one of the most popular meats. Here's a recipe for grilling steak:
Ingredients:
- 2 8-ounce strip steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Brush the steaks with olive oil to prevent them from sticking to the grill.
- Place the steaks on the SHIFU grill, and cook for about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness, the internal temperature should reach 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium, and 160°F for well done.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy!
For added flavor, you can also marinate the steaks in a mixture of oil, acid and spices before grilling.
